Do you have a mentor who helped you grow in Christ?
I do have several people and communities that have a lasting impact in my Christian Life.
To be honest, it is very hard to narrow down to several people, because in reality all Christian around us whose God has gifted have really played many important roles in my life.
To begin with, let’s just say that my local church (Westview Baptist Church in Sanford Florida) has impacted my life for the past 20 years.
But, to say that this is the only local church is not fair to the others. I have been blessed with other local churches which I was a member of in the past.
So, I would say that the Maranatha Christian Church (or Grace Christian Church in Austin Texas) had a lasting impact in my life when I was in College.
Another church that has impacted me when I was in Jakarta Indonesia is Gereja Persekutuan Maranatha Indonesia.
And for sure my parents and my uncles and aunties who were members of Gereja Kristen Indonesia Perniagaan and Gereja Kristen Indonesia Kavling POLRI had many lasting impacts when I was a teenager.
Other than all these local churches, today I am blessed with the Gideons International ministry and the Good News Jail and Prison ministry who guided me along the Way.
Last but not the least, my sisters, my brother in law, and my cousins; they all played a good role in my Christian life as well.
So, you see, when I get into heaven, I have to thank Jesus for sending me all those people in my life.
